Remember how they were actively pretending to be young people concerned about social justice in order to make sure Trump won by spreading bad blood, resentment and suspicion amongst the demographics who would be most hurt by him?

We’re going into probably the most important American election year for fucking ages.
They’re going to be back. Even if it’s not the Internet Research Agency aka Putin’s intelligence goons specifically, the fascist radicals know this shit works now.
Exclusionist bullshit plays right into this. Right into it.
And like here’s the thing:
Exclusionists are a pain in my ass and I will call their lies when I see them.
But I’m well aware that Mike Pence doesn’t give a fuck about our differences. I’m well aware that the people putting kids in dog cages and denying the children of queer men their citizenship laugh at our fights over who gets what words.
And yeah when it comes to it I am absolutely here for Miss Radfem’s right to the legal protections and rights due to a human being. Even a really damn ignorant and bigoted one. I will counter her propaganda bullshit where I can.
But never ever forget that the people trying to drive the world right now hate us ALL.
My girlfriend’s rule from 1990s street protests is: If someone is indistinguishable from a police provocateur, you stop letting them into the planning meetings.
Police would routinely seed plainclothes officers into activist groups and try to convince them to do something that would ruin their public standing or, even better, make them all criminals who could be arrested. “Let’s rob a bank!” “We could get this money from running drugs.” “Let’s firebomb the place!”
We need to be able to spot the agent provocateurs within our midst, and sit on them before they can ruin everything.
I think it’s important to say: it’s okay if you fell for this. Don’t be ashamed: those people are GOOD at what they do. Be angry. When you see this kind of activity, _call them out_ on being fakes who don’t actually care about the people they’re trying to stir up.
Be angry. Be angry and don’t let them do it again.
